
Leadership Mindsets Festival: What High-Performing Leaders Do Differently

During June, we brought our community together for our first Leadership Mindsets Festival.
We celebrated our alumni’s business achievements and personal successes of the past decade — and looked ahead to a future of even greater impact, connection, and results, powered by leaders using Mighty Mindsets in their most high-stakes moments.
This work presented a unique and golden opportunity to gather further insight and data on the effectiveness of a wide range of leadership mindsets and the methods for creating them.
This builds on the data already drawn from over 800 mindsets, gathered across:
- A decade of delivering Mighty Mindsets workshops
- Lena, our digital mindset auditor (created in partnership with the team at Langwith Research)
- The Individual Leadership Transformation programmes
Which mindsets correlate with success?
Let’s take a closer look at which Mighty Mindset #2s — empowering ways of seeing yourself — most strongly correlate with success.
🔑 Key Finding:
The most effective mindsets were those people consciously chose, created, and committed to:

We have shown that leaders who have applied these mindsets over the past ten years have been successful. Moreover, they also report increasing skill at rapidly generating mindsets in preparation for high-stakes interaction through years of practice.
Leaders who participated in ‘Mighty Mindsets’ reported a range of successes; from better outcomes in high-stakes interactions, greater confidence, and stronger collaboration, to increased business growth, investment, and promotions.
⚠️ Default mindsets — and what we’re shifting away from
Unhelpful mindsets, which comprised 74% of the default mindsets that leaders brought to high-stakes circumstances before Mighty Mindsets training, included:

Festival participants chose empowering identities and created an inventory of Mighty Mindset #2s to draw on.

Through this work, already exceptional leaders paused to reflect, re-anchor, and consciously choose how they want to lead going forwards. What they’ve set in motion is powerful — and we can’t wait to see what they create from here!
